You want to know why Night is still a mod?
1) His art. 2) He's given the Nique a place to stay 3) He gives the Nique nookie.
I generally just ignore him on the MB whose name I will not mention.
I like Chal's art better. Her art looks lifelike. You almost can reach out and touch them they look so real.
Example: That picture of F.C. she has as her avatar. It looks so real.

True. I know that shit.
Personally, the only artists at FUS that have earned my respect are:
Chalcara Cionex Eilain
They all can draw perfectly. Where as Night? Well, he can draw, but no way near as wonderful as the 3 I listed.

I agree. Those three and Dcaamis or Dcarriss. That guy doing the SatAM: Resurrection thing. I like his art to.
Chaos Croc also has some decent peices but I haven't seen him around. Probably due to Night berating him.

Too true. Those 3 are good too.
Another of Nights problem is where as people like Chal will compliment you on your work, and also help by giving you tips on how too make it better, Night just points out all the mistakes in the piece, basically labelling it shit compared too his own. The only person I've never seen him beat on their work is Nique... Oh and I wonder why that is?
He also thinks that just cause his stuff is in Team Atrail, he deserves too be treated like a fucking god!

Team Artail is full of Fan Characters... Bleh When I look for Sonic Fanart, I want to see "Sonic" Fanart. Not someone's characters...

I have a few problems with Nightweaver myself, though his behaviour that irritated me the most was, ironically, one that was, to a degree, justified... Namely, his reaction to the period of time related to my... Troubles. Normally, I would say that it was completely justified, however he seemed rather convinced that I was the worst member the board had ever seen, an assessment that I disagreed with... While I did pester Sonique a bit, acted rather insane, set up four other accounts while using a proxy IP address to for the purposes of telling them to stop talking about me, and, in the end, had to have her threaten to call the police on me, there have been worse people. If only because I didn't act this way except for about the last week I was there, and the reasons for my conduct could be attributed to three different factors combining to cause stress to put me in a rather abnormal frame of mind... That and he got away with talking about me after Sonique said that she would banish anyone who talked about me after she banned my third account. And proceeded to berate another member for the exact same thing -_- .
[twitches nose] Interestingly enough, though, they never did catch all of my accounts...
Another problem that I have with him is his debate style... He acts far too... Agressive, I suppose is what I'll say. I have no problem with intense arguing, or arrogant arguing, or any number of things... But he just makes me feel... Uncomfortable. Like if this were RL, he'd respond with physical violence...
And my final complaint with him that leaps to mind is that he always seems so... I don't know how to describe it >_< . Like he's always right, and his justifictations are the only valid ones, and that the rules are some form of ultimate truth that cannot be gone against, and everything is of life-or-death importance... A degree of that is both justified and needed, particullarly given his position, but he just takes it too far... Which, I suppose, is the problem - he takes everything too far, and sees the world in black and white issues - pure good, and pure evil.
I wonder just how it would be if he was given equal standing on the board, as opposed to his elevated position... If he was subject to the same rules and behaviour as the rest of the board, would he be the same as he is now? Would he become "just another person", and sort of blend into the regulars? Would he leave the board in anger? I'm rather curious as to what the outcome would be... Though the situation as it is now doesn't really interest me, save from wondering how this will affect the board newcomers.
This is, of course, only my view on the issue, and could be completely off - probably is, since my memory is in a pleasant haze from being ill. You could completely disagree. [shrugs] Feel free... It's of no real importance to me.
And yes, Chalcara is the better artist ^_~ .

News: Nightweaver is no longer a Mod. Ealain has taken his place as a moderator. ;D Kinda freaky since it happened while we were talking about it.

Well good riddance to the prick. Maybe things might change back to the way things were back at that not-to-be-mentioned MB. Y'know, the good ol'days that pre-dates NightCunts arrival when members were actually enjoying the friendly atmosphere. Ah, but I don't really care about that anymore, I'm quite happy at this MB and at Chaly's, my homes away from homes. ;D

I remember the good old days, this time last year when we were all happy. But what happened on FUS so pissed me off I almost gave up on MB's for good. Also all the good members left like Dominic and then Jim left which made me more angry then all the stuff with Ali done it for me. Also the intake of newbies and bloody Night's excessive dictatorship made it just a uneasy, walking on eggshells place to be. But now i'm on here and Chals with people I consider mates i'm happy again

Hnf. Went over to FUS for a second to see if I could catch the news about the Ealain's-a-Mod/Night's-not business, and instead ran across Lady Chal's "I miss the old FUSers" thread. I appreciate that I, Sir Roberts, Airborn, and others are missed, but it seems rather pointless for folks to be so on about it, seeing as it's only a hop-skip-and-a-jump to this board if they're hard up to talk to us. Lady Chal, Sir Tris, and others have found it, after all. And a fair number of us have instant messengers, e-mail adresses, and assorted other ways to get in touch with us. You'd think if these folks really missed us so much, we'd be swamped with various requests to come back. Or, well, you guys might be . . . I know the only e-mail I got concerning the ordeal was just shortly after I left. Anyway, of particular interest in the rest of the thread . . . I find it rather odd that Night would even vaugely consider that I'd be the type to take "petty revenge" on anyone. And I find even odder that anyone would imply (subtly or not) that Sir Tristan was anything less than a stand up guy, just because he happens to still enjoy being at FUS! Really, folks, there is not "us vs. them" kind of thing going here, neh? That's not what I started this new board to be. Just because there are some bad apples at FUS doesn't mean that they're all horrible, nor does it mean that anyone who enjoys being there is horrible. I don't know about the rest of you, but I only left because my personal enjoyment while being there had dropped off sharply, not because I thought every FUSer was a vicious monster who wanted to cause others misery. If I had thought that, I certainly wouldn't have started this place so those FUSers that I did like could keep in touch with me and other FUS refugees. So c'mon, guys . . . don't give folks who are still on FUS a hard time just because they're still on FUS. It doesn't make them sellouts or whatever, after all, it just means they're more tolerant of other people's excesses than we are. Save your venting for those on the board who have done ya wrong. For instance, I'm sure you've noticed I haven't called you off of Night, neh? Anyway, if things continue on their upward bend, then who knows? Maybe FUS'll finally be worth going to again. Here's hopin'.

Indeed FUS may one day get good again but at the moment, like you Jim, my enjoyment went downhill. But I went there myself yesterday to see the news and noticed it seemed, more happier again. Also I don't know why Tris said we don't like him cause he liked FUS I like him, and who sent him a PM saying that?
