Ah so 30 Euros would equal 60 Aussie dollars.

I know it's pretty much, but's that what those things are worth.
Especially since I spend between 10 and 15 hours at one average pencil rendering, so that price is still pretty cheap. ^__^9
For comissions I usually take a hour wage of 8 till 10 Euro (depending on on the topic); but then a print of the image is included and if you want the original pencil drawing is "cheaper".

Eh, the price is fine by me. I already know that it will be worth every pennie before I even see it.

You ARE aware that the 30 Euro isn't the comission prices, but the price for an original I've already drawn, aren't you? Well, it depends what you want to have drawn and in what quality. (Lineart is cheaper than a full pencil rendering, which is cheaper than a full blown digital painting.)
I mean, of course I'd be glad for to do a comission for you - I'll put that money to good use... (eg. paying webspace and buying art supplies)

So If I went for a full blown digital art pic, I would be up for how much?

In the moment nothing. Okay, too make it clear - I want to work out my style further and I'm not going to do it on "important" comissions. Some firms are interrested in my stuff, but they want to see more. And I want to give them more. The firms bring the BIG money. I'll take ten till twelve requests and try to finish them before NewYear. Take it as my "I found back to you present" for you - It's a one-time chance; I doubt that I repeat that. I'm going to post a what pictures I'm going to draw now in my next post. After I'm finished you can (but don't have to) buy the original/prints for the standart prices. So you don't have to pay for the drawing itself - and I'm going to pay good pencil paper (20 sheets cost almost 8 Euro) and my webhost from that. And I'm collecting money for a REAL Wacom tablet. My current one is shabby. Is that a deal?

Weither your just talking too John or all of us, I think it's worth the price of such good art. I've seen people sell art for more than that and the piece is no way near as professional as yours.

I know honestly. (And I'm not bragging) Consider it as a gift from me, you're my friends. So far I have on my list: 1. a bunny eats out a kitty picture requested by a REALLY close rl-friend (ex-lover). 2. artrade with ealain. (scene from her beautiful fic Redemption) 3. request by Fargus (he helped me ALOT) 4. John's character. 5. Prime's Sally request. (I mail you when I need the reference) 6. chalcara ripping apart random guy. 7. Airborns Bunny Picture. (I just like to draw love her) 8. Dominics socialistic request. (But I'll take out any reference to a direct historical happening, hope that's okay with you. ) 9. X request with the two friends staring in the sky. Wow, I think that's enough. I may take one or two additional requests; but not more.
