I got an idea... How about the parents do their stinking job and look at the ratings of the games before they buy them for their kids?
If you don't want them playing those games, don't buy them or allow them to buy them.
They're rated 'M" for a reason!
And 'M' does not stand for Mild!!
DUH!

"I'm going out, Mum!" "Where are you going?" "To play Killographic games" "..." "PWNED!!!" In short, only idiots could manage to be influenced by those killographic games. If they can't handle it, why play it? It's as simple as that.

I have the sudden urge to play Unreal Tournament now...
I find games like that good stress relievers. I also know the difference between fantasy and reality. It's better I blow up a guy made out of pixels than beat up a real flesh and blood person.

See, that's one of the major problems right there. Parents simply don't teach their children the difference between fantasy and reality much anymore! My own parents were quite adamant that I and my brother both learned the difference early on, and so we've spent over two decades now watching/reading violent and scary and desctructive TV shows, movies, books, etc. without flipping out and killing someone because of it. We were taught exactly what would happen to any living creature if we tried to do the things we saw in action flicks, whether it was try to fly our car off a ledge or shoot at people.
I still can't believe that people keep wanting to blame movies and videogames and guns and such when it's the people themselves who are doing the violence. Folks need to wake up and realize that getting rid of the movies and videogames and guns and such won't change the fact that they are still going to be raising weak-minded, ultra-impressionable fools who will find someway else to get themselves or others killed off.
It sickens me that parents want to blame everything and everyone else, never once really considering and discovering the truth . . . the blame lies with them. It sickens me that they think they need to come up with a word for a concept that shouldn't bother them in the slightest if they'd just do their damned job and raise these kids right.

Agent Kay said it best:
"A person is smart; people are dumb panicky dangerous animals and you know it."

How does one measure a killograph, actually? Is it like a standard bar chart?

Probably a Pie chart.
See this red section? It stands for Killographic. It takes a good portion of the pie, almost half. That's bad...

Oh, lordy . . . the sad part is, actually coming up with an exact measuring scale for killographicness will be the next thing on these people's agenda. "Screw the ESRB! We've got the KISS (Killographic International Severity Scale)!!!"
