www.geocities.com/neowebhog/yowza.jpgYowza! I got my paycheck today, so I was finally able to afford to buy comics. Strangely . . . I halfway enjoyed this one? Even though I really don't understand some of what's going on, since I was only able to start buying Sonic comics again a couple months ago, when they were in the middle of the whole Sonic in Space arc. I really like the page up above, tho' . . . looks like Archie finally got the editorial leeway to do this sort of thing since all the problems with the scene in #50 that this is an homage to. EDIT: How odd. I don't know if anyone else will have the same problem, but . . . if I copy and paste the URL, it works just fine, but if I just click it, I get a "not found" message. Screwy Geocities.

They may not allow hot linking. Tripod does that to.

Ah, the thing is, they used to not too long ago. I don't really see the point in trying to stop it, however, if one can just copy and paste the URL. If they're going to try and cut out direct connections to files within the site other than the index page, they should really go all the way with it, neh?

Who is that stupid woman who calls Eggman "father?" WHERE IS SNIVELY?!! >:^O Too many damned superfluous new characters and neglect of the old regulars!!!
Other than that it was fairly decent. I appreciated the sensitivity put into the reunion between sonic and Sally, althoguh I would prefer her not to seem like such a dumbstruck 13-year old :^/

Personally, I don't mind adding new characters or whatever so much . . . what I think is the most distracting and undesirable part is the habit Archie has always had of trying to absorb aspects of the other Sonic-verses in the most slipshod manner possible.

What really bugs me is Eggman, and his stupid ways. Yes his bots are shiny and new thanks to spiffy new Photoshop software... And they have blue tints.... (Robotnik in the future has black tinted SWATs... hehe) But see that SWATbot on the second to last page? The one at the front of the "horde". It's the commander class SWAT. The one Robotnik developed, so not only did Eggman steal Robotnik's place, and *tried* to take his planet... he also stole his bot designs... IE the Combot and C-class SWATs. Eggman got into his position through his sneaky transdimensional warping at an ideal time. Yes Robo-Robotnik supposedly "defeated" his Knothole rebels and Acorn monarchy... but he obviously defeated an easier variation of these characters... Otherwise he would have succeeded in issue 75... And the "Eggman Empire", I don't even know how to put this in a sentence... maybe just one word..."cheesy". Snively has been missing with no explanation, which means he's alive and going off on a tangent. Which is a good thing for us Robotnik Prime/SatAM Robotnik fans... as Snively is our closest tie now that Robotnik has been missing for over 80 issues...

I keep holding out for the old adage "if there's no corpse, they're still alive . . . and even if there is a corpse, there's still a pretty good chance" that's so predominant in comic books. I agree completely that Eggman is a complete idiot . . . he could have at least stayed in the somewhat more imposing guise of Robo-Robotnik, neh? Who'd be up for a Snively mini-series?

I concur... Eggman could have at least stayed as Robo-Robotnik, at least then he was menacing... but that just proves how much of a moron he either became or really was...

She looks like Sally and is drawn by Steven Butler. She kinda can't help it. And I can't promise anything about a  smilie, but I'll see what I can do.
